2022 Festival in Chestertown

2022 Festival in Chestertown

All –

Wow! What a Show!

The First annual Maryland Maritime Heritage Festival is in the books and was, by all accounts, a tremendous success! Everyone had a good time, which is what it is all about! The participants who brought their cars and boats, the hundreds of visitors to the City Marina and Wilmer Park, as well as the Radio audience of WCTR 106.9 FM, which promoted the festival for 2 weeks and broadcasted live from the Festival. Thanks to our Sponsors Tome’s Landing Marina https://www.tomeslandingmarina.com/ and Cutts and Case Shipyard https://www.cuttsandcase.com/. Your support made the festival possible! We also had great support from the City of Chestertown and have been invited  back to host an expanded and even better festival in 2023 on Saturday June 3rd. Put it on your calendars now!

I want to give a special shout out to the crew of the P520, who made the trip up from Cambridge for the festival. The work they are doing to preserve and maintain the heritage of this boat and others with ties the maritime heritage of Maryland  is truly commendable. Visit their web site https://p520.org/ to learn more and support the incredible work they are doing.

There are additional pictures on our Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/groups/411170326881697 and we will have more photos up on our website shortly.

Thank you once again for everyone who supported and came to  of the Festival. We look forward to seeing you throughout the summer.

Happy and Safe Boating!!!!!

Cheers!
