Maryland Maritime Heritage Foundation

About

We are the Maryland, Maritime Heritage Foundation.

Mission Statement

MMHF is a membership-based foundation dedicated to connecting people who love and enjoy vintage and classic boats with events, education, expertise, and other people who share the passion.

We serve our members by providing information, education, and resources designed to promote, sustain and grow the hobby, professions, community, and lifestyle surrounding the safe enjoyment of classic boats and boating.

We Celebrate Maryland’s Maritime Heritage by showcasing them at our annual festival and on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay.

The Maryland Maritime Heritage Festival is proud to be deemed a 501-c3 non-profit organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Further, the MMHF has been classified as a Private Operating Foundation. Each year, the MMHF relies on membership dues and Festival revenue to sustain their annual operating budget. We encourage you to support the MMHF’s mission of celebrating Maryland’s Maritime Heritage by providing information, education, and resources designed to promote, sustain and grow the hobby, professions, community, and lifestyle surrounding the safe enjoyment of classic boats and boating by making a tax-deductible donation today!
