A letter from the President of MMHF,
I’m so looking forward to returning back to normal. As you know I’ve been sick for the past eight months, and thanks to the outstanding care I received at UMMC, I’m pleased to announce I’m ready to get back to work.
Plans are underway for our annual meeting on February 12, 2022, in Oxford. Look for the announcement and details, which will be posted on our website shortly. Let’s hope this pandemic doesn’t worsen and we can pull this event off safely. So for now, mark your calendar.
Another notable date is June 4-5, 2022, for our first boat festival to be held in Wilmer Park, Chestertown, Maryland. Yes, this is the same event we were planning last year that had to be canceled due to the pandemic. We will announce details at our annual meeting.
Beyond the two events mentioned above our focus will now move toward new innovations, creativity, and the incredible opportunities that lie ahead. I’m personally looking forward to seeing how our membership of professionals continue to push the ways in which to support our passion.
